This message updates the one posted in 2007 which explains the introduction of activation by the administrator to avoid spambots from registering fictitious members on the Forum.

It would appear that the people who create these things have found a way around the security measures and there is a constant stream of false registrations again.

In order to counter this, I have introduced an "antispambot question" on registration which automated programs cannot guess. This asks a simple question associated with Wicken.
